Shawn Humes, Owner of Concord Construction in Reno-Sparks, Nevada has over 25 years of local building experience.  A Licensed General Contractor, and father of 2, Shawn is involved in his community and local schools.

Shawn began his professional career working for the Local Laborers Union, focusing on commercial construction. He was involved in the Wells Avenue Overpass rebuild, renovations on the Veteran’s Hospital, many schools, other hospitals, and misc. commercial projects.

 

Shawn eventually moved into the residential construction industry as a Customer Service Technician for a new home builder in the area.  As his experience grew, he moved up the ranks to Superintendent for a larger new home builder in the Double Diamond area of Reno.  Later, Shawn became the Construction Manager for a builder in the Somersett area.  After completing several neighborhoods, he moved into Land Development as well.

 

After earning his Associates Degree in Construction with an emphasis on Management Shawn got his Contractor’s License and opened Concord Construction.  Concord Construction is focused on helping home-owners and local businesses realize their dreams of quality remodels, new home construction and commercial improvements and development.  Shawn’s experience and network of industry professionals ensure that his clients receive affordable prices, while maintaining quality and projected timelines.
